The RNLI Art show is a wonderful opportunity to support both local artists and the RNLI, helping the RNLI to save lives at sea.
Originally created by Ian Hudson, a renowned watercolour artist, and friends, the RNLI Art Show has been held for 40 years at the North Devon Yacht Club, Instow. Re-launched in 2023, the Art show at North Devon Yacht club took over £18k in sales of original art and crafts, generating £6,500 for Appledore Lifeboat and the RNLI. In 2024 we improved on this amazing achievement, generating £7,500 for RNLI Appledore. 2025 was the 40th anniversary of the show, and generated £7,200, selling 73 original paintings, 84 browser pieces, 125 cards and pottery, woven creations and textiles!
